On June 6, 2026, the Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing (BAM) provided over 700 people with a glimpse into its work at 18 booths.
Also present was the team from Department 8.2, which, in subproject B02, is collaborating with colleagues from Bochum to research the use of non-destructive testing methods for classifying reinforced concrete elements for reuse. The project generated great interest among visitors and sparked lively discussions. Nzeeh Roumia, David Ringeloth, and Ernst Niederleithinger answered questions until midnight.
