On Wednesday, February 11, Prof. Giovanni Plizzari was a guest at the Chair of Solid Construction. He led a Coffee Talk for SFB participants on the topic of “Scientific Writing – Views from an Editor.”

Prof. Plizzari is a professor at the University of Brescia and editor-in-chief of Materials & Structures. Drawing on this dual role, he provided insights into editorial decision-making processes and outlined key quality criteria for scientific publications from an author's perspective. In the second part of the event, attendees had the opportunity to ask questions. A lively and in-depth discussion ensued.
