On February 4, 2026, the workshop “Bauteilkasten & Prozessgestaltung” took place.
Its focus was on the question of the extent to which prefabricated component concepts can serve as a model for the modular reuse of in-situ concrete structures. After keynote speeches by Prof. Angelika Mettke (BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg), Anna-Lena Schürmann (RUB), and representatives of the Fachvereinigung Deutscher Betonfertigteilbau e.V. (FDB), the participants discussed the topics of “component boxes” and “manufacturing and logistics processes” in working groups. The results were then brought together in a plenary session.
We would like to thank everyone involved for this constructive exchange, which is to be continued in the future. The Fachvereinigung Deutscher Betonfertigteilbau e.V. will be involved in SFB 1683 as an associated partner in the future.
